5 out of 5 stars Amusing glow mouse!!!   September 30, 2009

This mouse is very nice indeed, especially with the glow effects.

Works perfectly on my Sony Vaio, decent size and not too big in my hand

Just plug into a USB port and within a couple of seconds, the mouse operates and starts its glow effects, which is very cool

THIS IS NOT A RETRACTABLE MOUSE, SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A RETRACTABLE MOUSE, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE

All in all, a great mouse and I'm a very pleased customer =D

I'm using this mouse with a MacBook White (on my desk, it is NOT a laptop mouse!) and I could not be happier. The cable is a good length, long without being tangly, which is great because the USB port I'm using is on the wrong side of my MacBook. The mouse itself is extremely comfortable, with the dark blue area nice and matte so that your hand doesn't get hot and sweaty or slide off. The colour changing LED is soothing to sit and stare at when stuck on an essay ;-) The buttons are nice and clicky with a good response time, and the scroll wheel is responsive without being too loose so that you scroll all over the place. I would really recommend this to computer/laptop users who sit at the desk to use their machines.

my dad needed a another mouse for his computer and as i had bought one of these before i thought i'd get him one.
when i found it on amazon and it was cheaper than what i'd originally paid i had to buy it.
it's got a nice comfy feel to it, looks good and is cheap.

5 out of 5 stars A nice little thing........very happy.   January 5, 2010

I had been using a Belkin mouse for about 6 years and been very happy with it. It was quite small, fitted very nicely in my hand and worked brilliantly. When it broke (I was distraught!!!!) I feared that I was going to have a tough time finding something as good at a sensible price.
My first port of call was Belkin and I needn't have worried. Some companies do the little things well and Belkin is one of them.

My new mouse is a little larger than my old one and that did take a little getting used to. It is VERY responsive and I found that small movements of the mouse were enough to move the pointer the entire length of the screen. My old mouse wasn't like that but I soon adjusted. The feel of the mouse is very nice-it has a kind of rubberised effect on the bottom and the bit where your palm will rest. It's not neoprene or that kind of heavy thick rubber, it's in between those two. The end result is that it feels nice in your hand. I like touches like that.

It is a wired mouse but the wire is plenty long enough so you don't find yourself struggling with it like you do on some. The click wheel is responsive and nicely placed and does what you need it to do quickly and effortlessly. My favourite feature by far though is the 'Glow' feature. When you plug the mouse in, the clear plastic top and side parts glow a very pleasing slowly changing blue/purple/light blue effect. It makes the mouse look a hell of a lot more expensive than it is.
I could see some not liking that feature because it is quite bright in low light and for those of us that leave their computers on all the time, even at night, if it bothered you you would have to either cover the mouse with something or disconnect it entirely. Hardly a bother. Personally I use it as a rather soothing nightlight so I'm doubly happy!!!

If you want a decent quality optical mouse at a nice price, the Belkin Optical would be a good choice.

Recommended.
