The model number of this device is NOT for the dual headed support, as indicated in the Manufacturer's Description.

Amazons technical information is correct. This enables you to controll 4 computers using 1 monitor and not a 2 monitor extended desktop.

If you are looking for the item described in the Manufacturer's Description, you want the device with the model number F1DH104Uuk

If you're looking for a 4 port KVM switch, this one is one of the most popular around. Belkin have done a reat job of marketing it and making it available at the major distributors.

Have a look at the Aten CS-1764 before you make your decision though. At around the same price it comes with 4 cables included (the Belkin's are extra) and a built in USB 2 port hub.

It also has hot key swapping from the keyboard, so you can keep it hidden under the desk.

I just bought one having considered the Belkin unit first and I'm entirely satisfied.

I thought that this was a fairly small thing but at about 240x160mm it takes up a lot of desk space and needs a bit of planning on location as numerous cables run in and out of it. Be warned it does not come with any paired USB or VGA cables and these work out at about £9 for each computer that is to be linked to the monitor.
There is a version with Audio cables to share the speakers and again not supplied.
The 240v mains adaptor is fairly hefty and supplied but I have accidentally found out that it all seems to work without being powered up anyway. I have no idea why this is but a helpful bonus as this makes a fairly loud humming noise when switched on.
I use a Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard and Microsoft Explorer 4A Mouse, 19" Dell LCD display and all works OK. Some users report that other advanced types of keyboards lose the programmable key functions mine work OK.
This item replaced a much simpler Belkin KVM switch which would switch between computers at random then lock and leave one computer stranded and had to be switched off at the mains plug. Belkin Support were aware of this and recommended this model. So far it has been rock steady. I have it desk mounted and switch using the buttons on the unit as I can not get the key functions for switching to operate as per the manual.
Buy the 4 function not the 2 is my recommendation.
On balance very satisfied with this product and I am almost a professional whinger about PC add ons.
