This worked 100% ok for me, Husband split the Box to our bedroom upstairs, can not really say much more as it was the same picture as downstairs ????. I'm not sure what the other buyer bought possibly not a Belkin product which I purchased.

I wanted a satelite splitter so i could watch one sky channel while recording another from another sky box, thought this item would do it, but even though it sends a signal to each sky box, when they are both on the sgnal is reduced so they won't work at the same time, you have to switch one off, so for me its useless, i bought a signal booster but this didnt make any difference. I cant really see the point of a splitter, if the the signal is reduced to 50% to each box which then makes it too weak to produce a picture what use is it?
